Saké Spring Picnic and Cherry Blossom Dinner

This September, Saké is hosting their very first Weekend Picnic’s and Spring Cherry Blossom Dinners. These are hosted at multiple Saké restaurants across Australia, including Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. These events have been put on to purely celebrate the arrival of Spring and the Cherry Blossom Season.

Saké is a renowned Japanese cuisine Restaurant and Bar based at multiple venues across Australia, these include Double Bay, The Rocks, and Manly in Sydney, Hamer Hall and Flinders Lane in Melbourne, and East Street Pier in Brisbane. The popular eatery is one of Australia’s most awarded contemporary Japanese restaurants.

Saké sources the freshest and most seasonal ingredients and prepare beautiful meals with a contemporary twist. This September, the Spring Cherry Blossom Dinners are priced at $159 per person and you can choose if you want to indulge into East or West Japan with two different menus comprised of delicious delicacies.

There is only one date for each menu at each venue so make sure to book in early to avoid missing out.

The East Menu is comprised of Sumomono – tuna and spring vegetbales, Sashimi, tuna, snapper, bonito, cuttlefish and scampi, Steamedd moromiso snapper, Tempura spring seasonal vegetables, Grilled wagyu steak, Nigiri, and for dessert Amaimono – pavlova. 

The West Menu includes Sumomono – scallops, prawns and cauliflower puree, Sashimi – ike jime snapper, Steamed grouper kabura mushi, Tempura pork belly, calamari, Grilled sakura smoked salmon, Nigiri – tuna, snapper, salmon belly, and for dessert Amaimono – yuzu tart and seasonal ice cream. 

Saké is also offering a Weekend Picnic located at The Rocks, Hamer Hall, and Eagle Street Pier. These tickets are priced at $169 per person, and they have provided two dates for each location. This is the first picnic Saké has created, and they are scheduled for two hours each.

The private dining rooms in each restaurant will be booked out and transformed into a Japanese floral wonderland. Guests will dine tatami style (a traditional floor mat) and will indulge in a comprehensive Japanese share menu. Veuve Clicquot Rosé, Cloudy Bay Wine and Sapporo Beer will also be offered to all guests.
